Antique Outboard Motor Club - South Florida Gator Chapter

Scenes From April 9 - Timer Powers Park, Indiantown

Host: Bob Allard

A nice display of restored Johnsons.

Meet judges Mitche Lewis & Craig Gomersall scutinize Glen Wallen's 30's-era Johnson boat/motor combo.

R.C. Hawie's Evinrude Model 6042 racing engine, previously owned by racer Bob Wiget.

Bob Glick's original 1928 Johnson K-40, still in running condition!

Frank Erion's Wizard  WA-25. Large-size Wizards are rarely seen at our meets.

Betcha can't guess who this highly-polished 1922 Elto RudderTwin belongs to, eh?

Why, none other than Craig Gomersall, of course! His classic Cadillac ain't too shabby, either!

Steve "No Wake My Ass" Stella is off & running from the cramped dock area.

Art Korbel giving a ride to Jim Plihcik and Frank Erion.

Rick Boyette at the helm of his 1971 Cobia, testing out the new steering while cruising upriver.

Looking back down the river-- note 3 HP Folding Longshaft Yachtwin kicker that runs a lot better than it looks!

Safe & sound back at the dock-- that kicker came in handy when that old shifter cable finally gave up the ghost!

The railroad drawbridge that serves as the pylon for the Predicted Log race, about 1 mile down from the ramp.

Mitche Lewis takes a turn on the river.
